DARK KNIGHT! WOOO!!!!

The following contains no spoilers. You're welcome.

*inhales deeply* JUST GOT BACK FROM IT! YES!!! Oh my GOD, Heath was AMAZING! Two things that detracted me from it just a bit:

1. Batman's voice. Bale's a great actor, he makes a good Bruce Wayne, but his Batman voice leaves TONS to be desired. He's BATMAN. He shouldn't need to yell like he eats gravel for breakfast. Criminals shit themselves just by looking at him. Oh well, Kevin Conroy's voice is the only Batman voice for me. No one will ever top it. don't get me wrong, I hope somewhere down the road an actor does come along with a good live-action Batman voice...but I'm not getting my hopes up.
2. Deebo...If you don't know who I'm talking about, you are obviously not a fan of Chris Tucker's or Ice Cube's early film work.

I barely noticed a different actress was playing Rachel, but...meh. She's not all that important anyhow. Hence her whole...you know, (insert spoiler here) towards the end. Yeah. I think that's proof enough that she was just there as the generic female lead like last time.

Sweet God, what can I say about Ledger's performance? What CAN'T I say?...I'm really sad that he's not around anymore. Because let me tell you, after a performance like that...that'd be it. His star status would be chizzled in stone for all time. And I hope it still will be, but it's a damn shame the really talented ones are always the quickest to go...I'm still awe-struck by his "magic-trick..." WOW.

:o Ooh. Except tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be going to Six Flags with my mom & her friends. It works out because with me they'll have an even number of people so no one will have to sit with a stranger on rides! :XD: That was my mother's logic. :3
